Jim Tousignant

CEO, Founder

Jim is CEO and founder of FinTech Studios and is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience and proven track record in fast-growth start-ups in the internet and financial services markets. Jim has been an entrepreneur for more than 30 years and has been involved with more than a dozen startups. During his career, Jim has raised more than $300 Million in capital and has personally closed sales of more than $1 Billion of FinTech products and services with leading global financial institutions.

Jim was co-founder and President of Multex, a leading provider of online brokerage research, earnings estimates and fundamental data that was acquired by Reuters. At Multex, Jim raised $55 million in venture capital and completed a $40 million IPO, achieving a market cap on NASDAQ of $1.4 Billion. Jim completed 4 strategic acquisitions at Multex, built a 75-person global sales team and signed 40 online distribution partnerships, resulting in Multex generating $100 million in annual revenue, positive EBITDA and operating profitability.


Rich Taylor

Senior Vice President, Co-Founder

Rich is a senior executive with a broad background in Financial Services, Technology, Relationship Management and Product Management. Rich has 5 years experience in product management specializing in advisor desktop and wealth management products, 15 years of account management experience working with brokerage clients negotiating contracts, managing client projects, and acting as the senior level contact between ADP Brokerage Services and client firms, and 8 years of development experience starting as a junior programmer progressing to Senior Director of Development managing up to 21 developers working on various back office brokerage applications.


Kevin Barresi

Chief Technology Officer, Co-Founder

Kevin is a technology-centric entrepreneur with a passion for creating highly scalable, performant systems for a broad range of applications. Kevin excels at designing and building full scale architectures, centered on the key areas of stability, redundancy, performance, and scalability. Kevin brings experience with leading edge machine learning and ‘big data’ analytics to the FinTech Studios team.

As the president and founder of Iubble Inc, Kevin managed architecture, product, and customer development, as well as capital raises and strategic deals. When Iubble was acquired by FinTech Studios in 2016, Kevin joined the FinTech Studios management team as CTO. Kevin earned his B.Eng. and M.Eng. in Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.


Ellen Barresi

Chief Financial Officer

Ellen Barresi is FinTech Studios’ CFO, bringing more than 20 years of experience in senior management, corporate finance, and business development roles. As a growth-focused finance executive, Ellen has broad experience across both small and large organizations. Ellen previously served as the Head of FP&A for Liveperson, a provider of cloud mobile and online business messaging solutions. Prior, she spent seven years at Thomson Reuters, a global information services and solutions company, where she held several senior finance roles, including serving as CFO of multiple business units. Ellen began her career at Jones Lang LaSalle and Citi and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and her MBA from Columbia Business School.
